Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon

The Speedmaster is the watch that went to the Moon, full stop. NASA strapped it to the crew of Apollo 11 in 1969, and it's been "the Moonwatch" ever since, still the only watch qualified for spacewalks. What you're looking at is a hand-wound chronograph: three subdials, a tachymeter bezel, and a look that has barely changed in sixty years because it never needed to. The Professional Moonwatch is the icon, but the family runs wider, into racing dials, ceramic "Dark Side of the Moon" versions, and the slim '57. In 2022 the MoonSwatch, Swatch's cheap Bioceramic riff on it, put the design on countless new wrists and sent a fresh wave of attention back to the real thing. Few watches carry this much real history, and fewer still let you buy into it for the price of the steel Moonwatch. It's one of the greats, and it knows it.
