Tudor was built by the same man who built Rolex. Hans Wilsdorf created Tudor in 1926 as a more accessible alternative using the same case construction. That DNA runs through every watch they make. The Black Bay line draws directly from Tudor’s 1950s dive watch heritage, referencing the snowflake hands and gilt dial markers of vintage references that collectors have been chasing for decades. The Pelagos is titanium, purpose-built for serious diving. The Black Bay 58, named for the year of the original Tudor Submariner, became one of the most discussed watches in the category for good reason. The Ranger covers field watches. The 1926 handles the dress category. Tudor now runs its own manufacture movements and has built an identity that stands fully on its own, with a secondary market and collector base to match.
